Mark Barrera

Barrera Search Marketing was founded by Mark Barrera.  Mark designed and coded his first website in 1996.  After seeing how search engines drive traffic, he shifted focus to SEO.  In 2000, before Google launched AdWords, Mark began managing PPC campaigns via Overture. Mark has since developed search marketing campaigns for companies in many industries (mortgage, pharmaceuticals, retail, service, technology, software, and many others).

Barrera Search Marketing creates campaigns that span all areas of internet marketing including pay per click (PPC) marketing, organic  search engine marketing, social media marketing, email marketing and affiliate marketing.

Mark Barrera currently serves as the Chairman of the Dallas/Fort Worth Search Engine Marketing Association where he has been a board member for the past four years.  He speaks frequently at many industry events including Pubcon (Las Vegas, Austin, Dallas, Hawaii), DFWSEM, the Internet Strategy Conference (Houston) and the RICA-RTG Fall Forum (Phoenix) among others.

Mark has a degree in Entrepreneurship from the University of North Texas.
